Ethical code

Lusochimica operates in a complex and ever-changing market, interacting with many stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, patients, government and public structures, and suppliers.
This context sets up a high profile of social and moral responsibility that dictates a framework of values based on ethics, transparency, business integrity, high professional quality and a clear focus on service.
The company has established its values in order to guarantee the highest level of ethics and transparency in its business practices also considering the specific characteristics and regulations of the pharmaceutical world.
All management and employees have a great sense of responsibility in upholding the principles of integrity, ethics and transparency, and in opposing any sort of action or behaviour that may favour or even tolerate, directly or indirectly, conduct which is not aligned with this culture.
The company aims to underline the importance of these basic principles which have been consolidated through the adoption of its own Code of Ethics. This Code in line with the Group's Code of Conduct and with the deontological rules of Farmindustria is an integral part of the company's Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01.
Every employee must respect and enforce the Code and strengthen its application through compliant and responsible conduct.

The General Principles of Conduct

Lusochimica has developed and adopted the Organisational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 that is updated according to changes in company organizational structure, operational and legislative integrations processes.
Lusochimica has also established a Compliance Committee (“Organismo di Vigilanza”) with its own statute, an autonomous organ aimed at supervising the functioning and observance of the Model within the Company and its updating.
Finally, special attention is paid to communication initiatives and training of Company employees and consultants on the contents of the Legislative Decree 231/2001 and how they are implemented.

Reporting Channels to the Supervisory

Lusochimica S.p.A. has set up dedicated whistleblowing channels (as listed below) to the 231 Supervisory Body for encouraging any reporting of potential violations of the 231/2001 Model and/or relevant offences pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001:

The report will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and protection from any kind of retaliation and/or discriminatory behaviour of anyone who, in good faith, makes a report.

The contacting individual or organisation may, for example, claim that we can guarantee your employment if you pay them a certain amount of money. Such fraudulent offers and claims are usually received via email, the internet, text message, phone, etc. These claims and offers are fraudulent and invalid and you are strongly advised to exercise great caution when you receive such an offer of employment or notice. Such an offer or claim will probably be in the form of an email sent from a fake email address or from a free email address and not from an official Menarini Group email address. Please take extra caution while examining such an email address, as the perpetrators may misspell an official Menarini Group email address and use a slightly modified version of an official Menarini Group email address.

Please note that you will never receive a fraudulent employment offer or any other similar claim from us, because we do not provide any recruitment services. Moreover, we will never ask you for money in exchange for employment opportunities or other similar services. Any such offer of employment or any other service in exchange for fees that claims to be from us is deceitful and part of a fraud.
Criminal and/or civil liabilities may arise from such actions and we intend to cooperate with competent law enforcement agencies. Accordingly, we would ask you to immediately get in touch with us upon receiving a suspicious offer or claim and additionally notify the police or other competent authority.
In any case, please disregard any written or oral request related to a job offer or an interview that you believe is or might be fraudulent or suspicious.
